Work in Progress
|Work in Progress|
This piece is inspired this makeup video by Natasha/myeyeshadowisodd on Youtube.
I may still change a few things after the initial sketch stage. I’m not sure whether to disjoint the image/anatomy a little more, we shall see.

New Artwork- Work in Progress
Work In Progress
I was asked to make a custom Tomb Raider birthday card. This is a rough sketch of the watercolour I’m going include in its design.
Both the recipient of the card and I prefer the earlier game models of Lara so this is based off those.
This will be an artwork in itself and scaled down to fit onto the 5 x 7” card.
Digital Sketching Experimentation
I don’t usually sketch/doodle digitally however I downloaded this pencil Photoshop brush from Andantonius and have been playing around with it a little bit. I love the texture of the brush and it really is lovely to draw with in Photoshop.
I thought it would be quite interesting to experiment with sketching things out digitally, print them onto good quality paper and then finish them with inks.
I decided to create a quick, rough outline sketch of Morrissey just because. I’m not sure if I quite like the overall composition of the image and I probably won’t continue to a finished image with it.
I do want to make an ink piece with Morrissey as the subject though so I may have to try out different poses/ compositions until I’m happy enough with them to take it to a completed artwork.

Sketching and Planning
A quick sketch/study of some displaced seating in the 1999 Britannia crash. I’m planning to do some artwork based around the interior of the plane after talking to a Uni tutor. We were discussing ways to possibly making it relatable to the general viewer, as not everyone views planes as I do because of my love of the exteriors. Over the next few day I will be doing some prep work for bigger pieces incorporating text and other collage, this will help with finalising a composition.
I’m looking at using the interior apparatus of the plane to relate to the general passenger, I have also started to watch certain ephemera associated with the Britannia 757 on eBay. I’m possibly thinking about displaying diagrams and safety cards along with my artwork on the crash ( and other crashes i decide I want to look into for this semester.)
