A little bit of Wednesday Addams today.
Daler Rowney Acrylic ink on 200gsm Acrylic paper.
I’m 26 today!
How that happened I’m not too sure, but anyway here’s the cake I would make for myself if I had the time…probably.
Ink drawing on an odd off-cut of another ink drawing. This is why I never want to throw anything away.
This is also my submission for this week’s Illustration Friday as the theme is Octopus.
Acrylic ink and Pigma Micron pen on acrylic paper.
A simple ink piece for today. I’ve been watching so many Puddles Youtube videos recently, I’ve become a little obsessed with him- it’s very easy to.

I was busy with various things yesterday so I didn’t have time to upload yesterday’s Inktober piece. I decided to upload both yesterday’s and today’s ink pieces together.
A small ink piece on an off cut of cardboard- it’s starting to feel like Autumn here in the UK finally- I wanted to reflect this.
I created this drawing on a collaged page in my Moleskine- the page is covered with train ticket scans and gesso as a base for the top ink.
Inspired by the beautiful stormy weather here in the UK at the moment.
With this piece I experimented with some acrylic ink layering in my Moleskine. The base layer is a printout of a book scan (the standard Moleskine sketchbook isn’t really designed to hold this much wet medium so this helps protect the pages underneath) and I mixed the ink together with water straight on to the page with the help of a sponge.
This has about 5 thin layers of mixed ink- each layer was left to dry in between. I then drew in the bottom form and the top clouds with black ink and finished with white ink pen lines.
A small skull for today’s drawing. This is very scratchy and a little heavy-handed, not a good art day in general.
Beautifully stormy outside but still a terrible mood all day for some reason. Hopefully after quite a few cups of tea and a peaceful sleep I can feel better tomorrow.
Another piece done quickly as the end of the day was fast approaching.
Goliath from Gargoyles, just because.

This is a postcard created specifically for a postcard swap I am participating in with Mayparis of Youtube. She sent me a lovely postcard of Lamp-posts in Love – a sculpture in Kiev, Ukraine.
The postcard has the base ink directly on it, whereas the butterflies were drawn and inked onto acrylic paper, cut out and attached onto the postcard.
